Impressive and lasting symbol of the 1958 Brussels' World Fair, the shining steel-and-aluminium Atomium represents an iron molecule magnified 200 billion times. The upper sphere (height 330 feet) houses a panoramic restaurant. Scientific exhibitions are held in the side spheres.
