Montenegro comprises an area of 13,812 sq km which makes 13.5 percent of the union of Serbia and Montenegro. It is a maritime but also an extremely mountainous country with 660,000 inhabitants. Montenegro's numerous cultural and historical values that are complementary to the nature make it one of the most attractive parts of Europe.
